Learn the art of tea making
and tasting |

Guests to accompany Tea Garden Manager to see the pluckers
plucking tea leaves and the bud in the gardens(Jan-Mar lean
period). Guests can experience tea plucking themselves.
Accompany the Manager to his bungalow to have breakfast
with him/his family.
Accompany the Manager to the factory to get a first hand
knowledge of how tea is made. They can observe withering,
cutting/tearing / curling (CTC) fermenting, drying, and
packing processes in the factory. At the end of the process
"tea tasting" could be enjoyed by the guest. They
can learn tea tasting themselves.
Lunch
Visit the Jalukanibari village to have a look at the lifestyle
of the rural people of Assam. Witness weaving of cotton
/ colourful Assamese Silk in their handlooms.

Breakfast
Leave for Sivasagar (80 kms / 1 Hr 45 mins), the capital
of the
mighty Ahom Dynasty to see the relics which are 600 - 700
years old.
Visit Joy Dol, Joysagar Pond, Kareng Ghar, Tolatol Ghar
and
Rong Ghar.
Lunch at a restaurant in Shivasagar.
Visit Shiva Dol and Siva Sagar tank.
Start for Jorhat.
